Amy Bennet
Senior Physiotherapist
Amy spent her childhood up north on the Wirral with her parents, brother and labrador.
She qualified in 2019 from the University of Southampton with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She has continued her education, graduating from the University of Southampton with an MSc (Hons) in Amputation and Prosthetic Rehabilitation in 2022.
Amy has since practiced as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, developing an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of conditions. She splits her clinical practice between face to face treatment at Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy and a remote triage roll at BUPA, using her wealth of knowledge to provide a diagnosis and management strategies.
She decided to become a physiotherapist to have the opportunity to play an active role in helping the lives of others, as well as the chance to build on a long-term love for sport.
Amy loves the variety in the people and conditions she gets to work with. She loves seeing something new to understand and build on her clinical knowledge.

Why did you choose to work at JCP?
JCP offered the opportunity to get a wide variety of experience, as well as a welcoming environment when first starting her career.
What do you enjoy treating?
Everything, but my favourite is knees.
What do you like to do outside of work?
In her spare time, Amy likes to participate in ultimate frisbee, netball, and yoga, as well as a bit of skateboarding by the beach.
What is your favourite movie?
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Bern in Switzerland.
