About Holly
Holly was born and raised on the scenic Isle of Wight but now lives in the South Downs National Park.
After graduating with First Class Honours in BSc Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Portsmouth in 2023, Holly went on to complete an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2026. Alongside this, Holly earned a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy and Sports Massage from the London School of Sports Massage.
During Holly’s physiotherapy course, she gained comprehensive exposure to a variety of clinical settings including musculoskeletal, neurological rehabilitation, cardiorespiratory and palliative care. Holly also has extensive experience providing soft tissue therapy in sporting environments, including events such as the New Forest Marathon. She has had the privilege of being a Soft Tissue Therapist for the Isle of Wight athletes at two consecutive International Island Games, while competing as an athlete herself.
In terms of Holly’s motivation to become a Physiotherapist, Holly has been involved in athletics since the age of 8, as such, she understands the critical importance of taking care of your body to both recover from injuries and prevent them. Her own experiences overcoming injuries, combined with the exceptional care she received from physiotherapists, inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy with the goal of providing the same level of support to others.
Holly is passionate about helping individuals recover and regain confidence in their movement. She also enjoys connecting with new people and guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, finding it deeply rewarding to see the positive impact physiotherapy can make.
