Conor grew up in the seaside town of Bognor Regis. Being an only child, he grew up with his mother.
Conor studied at the University of Chichester and finished his BSc Physiotherapy degree with first class honours in 2025.
Conor started instructing Karate from the age of 14 and developed a passion for helping people. He has since had 10+ years of coaching experience, working 1-1 as a personal trainer specialising in strength training, rehabilitating clientele, working as a private sports massage therapist, and now as a physiotherapist.
In terms of Conorâs motivation become a Physiotherapist, when he was 14, his mother said that he would make a great physiotherapist. This stuck with him until he was 22. At the time, he was really enjoying rehabilitating clientele within his role as a personal trainer, but then he decided to look into a Physiotherapy degree, signed up and never looked back! Conor expresses that nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone achieve their goals.
His favourite part of the job is the mystery. Everyone is different and no case is the same in Physiotherapy. The variety of people, conditions and goals allows for a different skill set. He loves to educate and see a very different, positive, individual leave a session for the better.
Question & Answer
Why did you choose to work at JCP?
I chose Jonathan Clark as I had recently graduated and found my love for MSK physiotherapy during my clinical placements. Jonathan Clark offered this, whilst allowing the opportunity to provide the very best treatment for my patients with the addition of an incredibly warm and inviting team environment.
What do you enjoy treating?
A wide range of conditions, I love to learn! I especially enjoy working with knee injuries and helping patients redevelop essential biomechanics.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am a national and international level powerlifter, who has represented GB Universities and England at two different weight classes, U66kg and U74kg. So training takes a majority of my time! Out of training and work I am a massive nerd, I love to learn, I game with my friends and family, and watch anime and TV series.
What is your favourite movie?
Lord of the Rings Return of the King // Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Do not ask me to choose!
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere with sights and history, just get me away!
