About Joe

Joe grew up in Brighton and Hove.

He has a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy with first class honours from the University of Chichester, graduating in 2025. Joe is also currently undertaking a master’s in health research at the same University. Furthermore, he has a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage.

Joe has a lot of placement experience within orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients, chronic pain, paediatric neurodevelopment, along with experience working in a clinic set up for dance students on campus at the University of Chichester.

Joe’s motivation to become a physiotherapist stemmed from having a passion in pursuing a career in helping others improve their quality of life. He was lucky enough to see how important physiotherapy was for close family members, and how quickly Physiotherapists can make a difference.

A big part of Joe pursuing a physiotherapy degree and career came from his highly empathetic and compassionate nature. He enjoys listening and supporting others. He enjoys working in environments that challenge him and allow him to grow.

In his free time Joe enjoys being active, playing football, running, and weight training, which goes hand in hand with physiotherapy.

The thing that Joe enjoys the most about being a Physiotherapist is being able to help people through their journey, help people regain confidence, independence, and a regain of control over their health and lives.

Question & Answer

My moral values align closely with that of Jonathan Clark physiotherapy, that being maintaining integrity, being compassionate at every point, and the importance of health and wellbeing. With all of these values in mind encourages a holistic person-centred approach.
I enjoy treating musculoskeletal conditions and supporting those who may have long term pain. I value the process of combining education, movement, and personalised treatment planning to help people progress at a pace that feels right to them. I also enjoy treating Sports related injuries including running, football, and any other sports as I enjoy a challenge.
Outside of work I enjoy staying active through running, playing football, and weight/strength training. I also enjoy watching Brighton and Hove Albion on the weekends. I also enjoy going out for walks in the south downs.
