About Kinga

Kinga was born in Poland (Toruń, Chełmża), and she came to England with her family when she was 5 years old, growing up in England for most of her life. Kinga lived in Shirley most of her time here, but now lives in Totton. She graduated from the University of Chichester with a grade of 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy.

In terms of her motivation to become a Physiotherapist, Kinga expresses: –

“When I was between 8-10 years old, my Dad had a bad car accident, which resulted in him needing Physiotherapy. Because he does not speak English, he would take me along to translate. During the first session, his Physiotherapist made me fall in love with this career, and the more sessions I went to, the more interested I became.”

“When I was 15 years old, I dislocated my knee and had Physiotherapy myself. This experience reinforced that this career path was for definitely me, and it became my dream. Since then, I did everything possible to become a Physiotherapist.”

“When I didn’t get into University the first time round, my heart broke. However, that only motivated me more to do whatever needed to be done to get onto the course. When I found out I had been accepted the second time around, and embarked on a 3 year learning journey at University, my dream started to become a reality. And now that I’m qualified, I’m so happy to be in a position to help people, and I thrive to be the best Physiotherapist I can be.”

The thing Kinga enjoys the most about Physiotherapy, is that we can build people up again. They can come with any kind of injury, and we get them up and going again. She enjoys educating clients about their injuries, their bodies, and the process of physiotherapy treatment.

Question & Answer

I always wanted to work within the musculoskeletal field of Physiotherapy, and one day open my own clinic. When I was fortunate to be offered a 6 week placement at Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy, I took it as a sign that this will determine if this path was right for me. I instantly fell in love with the setting and ethics of work at the company. Although I was there for only 6 weeks, I got to see, and experience so much. The dynamic and relationships between the clinicians and clients was simply amazing, alongside the trust developed, which I believe is integral to successful treatment outcomes.
I enjoy treating all cases and pathologies. Each client I see is a milestone in helping me to develop. I enjoy treating individuals post car accidents and I can relate to the fear and anxiety they feel, as well as help them regain themselves again.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love spending time in the sun as well as listening to audiobook and cooking. I have a great hobby of playing airsoft with my brother in law and our friends. I do also enjoy time to myself, think and reflect as well as rest and clear my mind.
The Fast and Furious franchise. This is because it involves racing, cars and adrenaline as well as loyalty, friendship and the importance of family.
Hot countries. I have visited Spain 3 times with my family, Mallorca once with my mum and her friends and Madeira with my sister, brother in law and a friend. I love the sun and the sea/ocean (swimming or diving). Beaches, hot weather, good company and good food and drinks as well as beautiful sights and memories to keep forever.
