About Kinga
Kinga was born in Poland (Toruń, Chełmża), and she came to England with her family when she was 5 years old, growing up in England for most of her life. Kinga lived in Shirley most of her time here, but now lives in Totton. She graduated from the University of Chichester with a grade of 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy.
In terms of her motivation to become a Physiotherapist, Kinga expresses: –
“When I was between 8-10 years old, my Dad had a bad car accident, which resulted in him needing Physiotherapy. Because he does not speak English, he would take me along to translate. During the first session, his Physiotherapist made me fall in love with this career, and the more sessions I went to, the more interested I became.”
“When I was 15 years old, I dislocated my knee and had Physiotherapy myself. This experience reinforced that this career path was for definitely me, and it became my dream. Since then, I did everything possible to become a Physiotherapist.”
“When I didn’t get into University the first time round, my heart broke. However, that only motivated me more to do whatever needed to be done to get onto the course. When I found out I had been accepted the second time around, and embarked on a 3 year learning journey at University, my dream started to become a reality. And now that I’m qualified, I’m so happy to be in a position to help people, and I thrive to be the best Physiotherapist I can be.”
The thing Kinga enjoys the most about Physiotherapy, is that we can build people up again. They can come with any kind of injury, and we get them up and going again. She enjoys educating clients about their injuries, their bodies, and the process of physiotherapy treatment.
