Max Ankerstjerne
Senior Physiotherapist
Max grew up in sunny Bournemouth with his parents, two younger sisters and pet cocker spaniel.
He studied at the University of Worcester from 2020-2023 graduating with an upper second class honours degree in Physiotherapy.
Max has always had a strong passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy, having completed placements in both outpatient MSK and inpatient trauma and orthopaedics. After graduating, he immediately joined Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy and has never looked back.
In terms of his motivated to become a Physiotherapist, Max worked in Hydrotherapy as a paid hydrotherapy assistant when he was 15 years old, using his lifeguard qualification to support the running of the service. This is where he developed a strong passion for helping people and his love of all things Physiotherapy.
His favourite part of the job is discharging clients and reflecting on their journey; seeing how physiotherapy has helped them achieve complete self-reported improvement. For Max, there’s no greater satisfaction than empowering clients to regain their confidence and independence in managing their health and well-being.
