Nathan grew up in China with his parents and older sister, before returning to England in 2018.
He has Physiotherapy experience within the NHS and sport. This includes work as a Physiotherapy Technician and Rotational Physiotherapist within the NHS, covering a range of clinical areas, alongside additional experience in pitch side physiotherapy within academy football, providing injury assessment, acute management, and rehabilitation support.
Nathan was motivated to become a Physiotherapist by his strong interest in health and science. A career in Physiotherapy allows him to apply this passion in a practical and meaningful way. He finds that Physiotherapy offers the opportunity to directly improve the functioning and well-being of others, combining evidence-based practice with patient-centred care. This alignment of personal interest and professional impact continues to drive his commitment to the field.
Nathan enjoys being a part of each client’s journey, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. He finds great satisfaction in seeing an individual’s progress over time and contributing to meaningful improvements in function and quality of life.

Why did you choose to work at JCP?
Nathan chose to work at JCP because of the patient-centred ethos of the team, putting the patient first to help them achieve their goals, improve function, and reduce pain.
What do you enjoy treating?
Nathan enjoys treating a range of musculoskeletal injuries but has a particular interest in working with athletes to help rehabilitate sports-related injuries and optimise function.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Nathan likes being involved in sports. He competes in volleyball and muay thai in his time outside of work. He also enjoys watching football with his friends and family.
What is your favourite movie?
Nathan’s favourite movie set are the Harry Potter movies.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Nathan’s favourite holiday destination is Australia. He enjoyed spending time on the beach and exploring the vast amounts of wild-life and stunning landscapes.
