Are you on your feet all day and suffer with heel pain?

Are you on your feet all day and suffer with heel pain?

From working in a hospital or construction site, to just having a busy non-stop lifestyle, plantar fasciitis can be cut-throat.

Plantar fasciitis does not care if you have heavy machinery to operate, patients to care for or kids to run around after.

At Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy, we have helped many victims of plantar fasciitis get back on their feet.

So, rest assured, our team have a solution to treat your heel pain!

The Science

The Plantar Fascia is a robust band of tissue that connects your heel bone to the base of your toes. It assists in walking helping you to propel your foot off the floor ready to take the next step.

The plantar fascia also has an important role in shock absorption when walking and supporting the arch of your foot.

When this band of tissue becomes inflamed, it can cause pain around the heel and arch of your foot.

There are a few things that might increase your chances of getting plantar fasciitis including being on your feet all day, walking or running on hard/uneven terrains, or even wearing shoes with poor arch support!

The Solution

Our experts based in Southampton, Whiteley and Midhurst will equip you with all the tools you will need to improve your heel pain and prevent reoccurrence…so you can get back to living a pain-free lifestyle.

The first step will be a thorough assessment to diagnose and help you to understand why you might be experiencing heel pain.

We will treat your heel pain with an exercise program tailored specifically to your needs as well as advice on pain management and footwear.

To compliment the exercise program our team can help speed up the recovery using shock wave therapy, giving you the upper hand on conquering your plantar fasciitis.

Client Testimonial

“I had several appointments with Jonny Glenny including physiotherapy and shockwave treatment. Jonny was always very kind and attentive I was very impressed with their knowledge and skills. They took a very thorough history, completed an in-depth assessment and created a treatment plan I felt comfortable with, adapting it as my injury improved. Thoroughly recommend the service.” Becky Petley
