Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans & Ultrasound Guided Injections

Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy has partnered with Complete Injections, a London based clinic, to provide a one-stop ultrasound guided injection service at our 19 Oxford Street clinic in Southampton.

With the growing pressure on the NHS, we are aware that many clients are waiting a very long time, sometimes over 6 months, for a steroid injection. This partnership allows us to provide our clients with a cost-effective solution to obtain pain relieving injections without delay.

From shoulder pain and arthritis to conditions like plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, we offer a comprehensive range of treatments tailored to your needs.

Peter Monk will be providing the injections service twice a month at Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy. Peter has over 25 years of clinical experience and currently splits his work between NHS, where he is a clinical specialist, and private practice. Peter will offer both steroid injections and hyaluronic acid injections at the clinic, performing all injections using ultrasound guidance to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Peter performs all upper limb and lower limb injections; we do not carry out spinal injections.

Every appointment with Peter involves a clinical assessment, diagnostic ultrasound scan (at no extra cost), and an ultrasound guided procedure. Utilising ultrasound guidance ensures the safety and accuracy of the injections whilst minimising any procedural pain or discomfort. The clinic is self-referral i.e. a doctor’s referral is not required to make an appointment.
