Ankle Sprain Rehabilitation

Ankle injuries often require the standard PRICE regime: Protect Rest Ice Compression Elevation However, if your sprain is more severe you may also require crutches for the initial period following your injury. Some injuries will require further immobilisation for 2-3 weeks in order to provide support and protection to your ankle, allowing it to heal.
